119 - Editing with Avid Xpress Pro and Avid Xpress DV:
    This three-day course is an in-depth introduction to the techniques of nonlinear editing on the Avid Xpress Pro system. The class progresses through all the basic phases of creating a sequence, including inputting source footage, assembling and trimming sequences, editing audio, creating titles, and outputting a finished program. SD and HD media are used. Class time is divided between demonstration and hands-on practice. The course is designed for video editors and developers of interactive media.
            Prerequisites:  None, although a background in editing, production, or post-production is also recommended.

129 - Introduction to Avid Xpress Pro Effects:
    This two-day course is an in-depth introduces to the creating visual effects on Avid Xpress Pro. Topics include: creating multilayered effects, keyframing effects, creating effect templates, mixing DV and HD clips in an effect composite, working with AVX plug-in effects, creating motion effects and timewarp effects, nesting layers, and working with the Xpress 3D effects. Class time is divided between demonstration and hands-on-practice.
            Prerequisites: completion of 119 course or equivalent experience.
